At my sessions, I'll pose you the whole time! Do you think those “lifestyle” moments AREN'T posed? They totally are – but it's what happens after I get you into that position where the magic starts to work. I move fast so that you and everyone else won't have time to think twice or feel weird. I play games, give prompts (family friendly or a little more dirty because let's face it, I have a pretty dark sense of humor).
I don't generally fiddle with countless props – I may bring some blankets or a unique chair, but that's usually the extent of it!
Working full time in a public library children's department with programming experience has given me the best advantage with wild kiddos, conversation skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
I'm a natural light photographer, so most of my sessions must take place an hour before sunset to ensure you get the best photos possible! It's always SO worth it. If it's gloomy outside we just roll with it! I do not have an indoor studio -- but sometimes have opportunities to shoot in Airbnb's, public spaces, and even come to your house if you've natural good indoor lighting!
Be prepared to adventure a little bit – I love finding unique locations that may sometimes require a little walk, climb, or drive to the middle of nowhere!
all sessions require a non-refundable booking deposit (half the cost of session) that goes towards the cost of the session!

- This session will block off a full hour, but almost always if we're on a roll it goes faster! So, it lasts as long as it lasts! I tell folks all the time that if everyone does good, I can get as many photos in 15 minutes as I can in an hour!
- Session will take place a half hour before sunset and is subject to change depending on weather.
- You will be given the choice of locations, and can also make your own suggestion! I'm up for adventures in pretty unconventional places, and can come up with a planned theme.
- Ask about styling! I can make you a mood board!
- Furbabies always welcome, just let me know ahead of time so that we can pick the perfect location!
- You will receive 50+ images high-resolution artistically edited digital images. This includes all printing and sharing rights!

- I am not a sports/action photographer, so I typically do not visit the ballfields for photos! Schools generally have their own photographer pick for these shots!
- Ask about styling! I have a client closet and can help plan your outfit vision. You can rock up to three outfits at your session!
- Furbabies always welcome, just let me know ahead of time so that we can pick the perfect location!
- Set ups and theme ideas are welcome! You may bring props of your own (school memorabilia) but please check with me prior to larger items!
- You will receive 50+ images high-resolution artistically edited digital images. This includes all printing and sharing rights!
